Petition Letter
I am writing to you to discuss my enrolment issue of JAPN 100A and JPN100B. I was being asked by Professor Keiko Aoki to drop the course at this time due to my living experience in Japan. With 6 years of living abroad experience in Canada, where I have no opportunities to practice Japanese, I have forgotten the majority of the language as Japanese is not my first language. However, after a comprehensive test and discussion with Professor Keiko yesterday, I have agreed to drop JAPN100 at this time.
At this time, I kindly request you consider my petition and grant me permission to select another course at this time in order to graduate on time in the fall. While I believe there may be many steps in the process of appealing, I am willing to provide any information for the appeal anytime.
