Petition Letter
I am writing this petition to have some of my courses dropped from the winter and fall 2021 terms. During this time, I experienced a traumatic experience that spiralled into a severe eating disorder. With the help of therapists and other medical experts I have begun to recover, however, this has been a very long process as I suffer from a type of eating disorder that is not well understood. Rather than being from a lack of self-esteem, my eating issues are subconscious and triggered from extreme stress and other environmental factors. I would like to continue my education and my healing and I believe this petition is possibly the beginning of a fresh start for myself, as I have recently recovered and am dedicated to continuous recovery, as issues like this do not just
