Future Plan
I communicated my experience with a guidance counselor, who informed me of the appeal process to remove courses that I failed due to sickness. By the end of December 2023 appointments, my allergist supplied me the doctor form to submit for academic appeal. This month I have completed course selection, based on advice given by the counselor. I have planned to take MICR 271, ANAT 100, and 380 to supplement the mandatory courses needed for my degree. I am currently in Life Science General plan, but was aiming to switch to the specialization route with ‘Biomedical Sciences’. Furthermore, I would like to plan for a meeting with a professional advisor on campus – with acknowledge of my extenuating circumstances and for support regarding my plan.
In conclusion, this prolonged situation has negatively impacted my ability to appropriately proceed through coursework over two years. I hope this resolution is received with the utmost regard and respectable consideration. I have provided a doctor's form as supporting documentation for this appeal petition letter. If there are any further questions or concerns, I would be pleased to meet with the respected persons.
