Academic Plan
My plan currently is to evaluate how I am feeling over the summer. Right now, my objective is to be a history major, although there are still some areas of study in which I am giving thought to taking. Depending on the course offerings, I plan to retake many of the courses I am petitioning to drop right now. I am confident in my ability to perform well in the future, so long as I am feeling better and am on a recovery path. I have met with an academic advisor previously, and I understand that a History Major is a feasible route for me to take. If I wish to pursue an alternate route, I understand faculty/professor permission for classes may be required. Additionally, I believe I can manage a full or mostly full course load, again depending on my health and feeling better. One strategy I need to implement more avidly in the future is seeking advice aids around campus when needed. I have dealt with some anxiety and recurring fatigue, which has restricted my ability to access services and individuals on campus. However, in the future I plan to make more use (on top of what I was already accessing, including accommodations) of the resources provided to me, so that times of duress that I am able to persist and see my academic efforts through.
