Petition Letter
Thank you for taking you time to read my petition letter.
I am writing to request an appeal to drop the course CISC 332 from my transcript due to extenuating circumstances that significantly impacted my academic performance on the final exam. During the exam period, I was very sick and since I did not know at the time I could defer an exam, I decided to write my back-to-back exams (this course being the second exam). I decided to test for COVID after I found out that I was coughing up blood and as a result I tested positive for COVID-19 which greatly affected my ability to perform during the exam.
If you look at my grades throughout the course it is proven that I did well on all my assignments and projects with my lowest mark being a 70.
