Academic Plan
In my case of more severe and ongoing extenuating circumstances, I will be making major personal adjustments in order to succeed in my future studies. I have not yet registered in my desired degree plan as it hasn't been an option for me as I am in my first year of studies, I am familiar with the plan requirements and will be contacting an academic advisor to see if that is still an option for me. I am currently enrolled in 3 summer term classes, 2 of which are 6 credits and 1 is a 3-credit class, this seems to be a good work-load for me considering my circumstances and may continue taking this route if possible, I am also taking a class that is required for me to major so I can receive a better GPA and continue my desired degree plan. My strategies for success include significantly managing my time better, as I am an organized person, if an extenuating circumstance does happen in my life unexpectedly, it does take a huge toll on me and if something like this does happen in the future I would make sure to tell somebody immediately to avoid this problem occurring again. Along with going to counselling and other facilities available to me to ensure that I am getting the help I need. I don't have a problem with course content, nor do I find it hard to follow along in lectures with the added reading or complete the course work, I feel that I had something happen to me that decreased my motivation significantly which did cause me to have academic demands, but overall I feel that the course load and content being very easy to follow and I can complete it according to schedule.
