Petition Letter
Dear Associate Dean,
I am writing to request to take more than 6 credits on a letter of permission through another institution. I have been in contact with Barb Lotan for the past year and have quickly come to realize how much events that have happened to me throughout my time at queens has really greatly affected my mental health and my academics. I plan on being a visiting student for a year at UBC and then applying to transfer for the year after once my grades improved. I am trying my best to prioritize my safety and returning to queens is not the greatest decision at this time. I want to take a full course load at UBC to be able to have better grades to heighten my changes of a transfer acceptance. I do not plan on returning to queens, and I am able to get in contact with Barb Lotan to provide supporting documentation.
