Petition Letter
I am a second-year economics major, and I was waitlisted for the class. For 3-4 days, I was number one on the waitlist and was confident I would get in. I even checked with course advising, and they told me that due to my position, I was likely to get enrolled. They also mentioned that the class might be over-enrolled if necessary. After waiting until the deadline, I unfortunately did not get in. I then went to the economics department, and they assured me it wouldn’t be an issue. They advised me to email Professor Wang for permission, which he kindly granted. I’ve been attending the class, taking notes, and really enjoying Professor Wang's teaching style.
