My name is Max Jenkins. I'm a 3rd year student majoring in Physics. I am writing to formally request consideration for late enrollment in PHYS 316, which is currently being taught this semester by Professor Tom Weisgarber.
I was unable to register for this course by the official deadline due to a prerequisite time conflict last year. However, after thoroughly reviewing the course and discussing it with Prof. Weisgarber, I believe PHYS 316 is a crucial part of my academic progress and aligns directly with my long-term academic goals. The course content is highly relevant to my major, and enrolling in it this semester will help me stay on track for timely graduation.
I am fully aware that enrolling late can sometimes disrupt core understanding of the course material, but I assure you that I am prepared to take all necessary steps to catch up on any missed material and actively participate in all upcoming classes.
