If my petition is granted, I’m committed to ensuring this situation doesn’t happen in the future and be more organized moving forward.
I will:
Ensure better Course Management:
I’ll be more careful when making any changes in SOLUS, double-checking everything before confirming. I will also take my time reviewing course enrollments policies to avoid making the same mistake.
Set Reminders:
I plan to set up reminders for key dates, like the add/drop deadlines, so I don’t miss anything important. I will also pay closer attention to notifications from SOLUS to stay up-to-date on my registration status.
Maintain proactive communication:
I plan to regularly check in with my academic advisor and course instructors regarding my schedule and any administrative concerns. By maintaining clear communication, I can prevent future registration issues.
Be engaging in Class:
Given that I’m able to rejoin GNDS 212, I will make sure to catch up on anything I’ve missed and be fully involved for the rest of the term. I’m dedicated to putting in the effort needed to meet all the course requirements and actively participate in discussions and assignments.
