Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
I hope this petition reaches you in good faith. There was an accidental block placed on my Solus during enrollment period around August. When I talked to an academic advisor, she had removed the block for me to be able to enroll into my classes. I managed to enroll in 3 classes before being put on another block for “late fees” which they later on realized was a mistake on their part. On the 12th of September, they sent me another email letting me know they had removed the block since it was accidental but when I tried to enroll into EMPR 100, it was still prompting me that I am blocked. I talked to another academic advisor yesterday and she had advised me to petition for a late addition for a class. Solus is showing me there is 1 seat available in each class offered. I am on academic probation and taking classes like EMPR 100 that I didn’t do so well previously would really allow me to redeem myself academically and raise my GPA. I want to put in my utmost effort into fixing my academics and being EMPR would help me out a lot.
