Petition Letter
In the months November and December my grandmother was in the hospital for blood problems. This is the second time she was in the hospital this year. My mom is a single mother who works two jobs so she needed help with this so I had to go back to Kitchener to help. I returned to queens a week before exams and I am on this acne pill that had mental health side effects. In my life I had never had to deal with mental health issues but being on this medication and my grandma being sick in the hospital I could not study the week before exams. I was sitting in my dorm room having panic attacks waiting for a call on my phone that she was dead it was like mother I have ever experienced before in the end I decided not to take my exams because I could not even leave my room due to this new anxiety. When I went to go see my family for the break I decided to go off the medication and now I am feeling a bit better my grandma is still sick but not as bad as she was a mouth ago.
