Dear Associate Dean
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to respectfully request your approval to complete 6 credits of ECON option courses at another institution during the Summer 2025 term.
The reason for my request is that the courses offered at our university during the Summer 2025 term, ECON 111 and ECON 223, do not fulfill the credit requirements for the ECON courses I need to graduate. As a third-year student, I am currently 42 credits short of meeting my graduation requirements. If I am unable to complete 12 credits during the Summer 2025 term, I will not be able to graduate on time in Summer 2026.
To ensure I stay on track for timely graduation, I plan to take 6 credits of ECON option courses at another institution while completing an additional 6 credits of elective courses at our university during the Summer 2025 term.
I kindly ask for your understanding and approval of my request.
