Petition Letter
Hello,
I am requesting an extension of my incomplete grade for BIOL 103, as I was unable to write my deferred exam due to ongoing disability-related symptoms. Over the past year, I have experienced periods of severe symptoms, and leading up to the exam, an exacerbation significantly impacted my ability to concentrate, manage daily tasks, and worsened my executive dysfunction and irritability.
On January 17th, I began a new treatment plan with my family doctor to help manage these symptoms. However, I am currently adjusting to this change and experiencing side effects, including muscle soreness, nausea, and dizziness. Due to these challenges, I kindly request an extension to allow time for stabilization before attempting the exam.
