Petition Letter
I was informed of a suspension from 2025 May to 2026 April. I would like to continue on probation instead of suspension starting from May 2025 and continue to take courses this summer. I have fully acknowledged the reasons that I go on a suspension and take responsibility for my challenges in the past before 2025.
Since receiving several NOI’s before 2025, and from now on I have fully taken significant steps to change the issues that lead to my current academic standing. Now, I have fully made good progress starting from this term and designed a concrete plan to ensure my success. Starting from this year in 2025, I have committed not to be receiving any more NOI’s AT ALL and ensuring that my academic performance aligns with university exceptions. I have successfully improved strategies to improve my study habits now.
I believe that now staying on probation instead of suspension to continue my studies is the best course of action. A suspension does not delay my progress but makes interruption to my momentum that I have built significant improvement. I am confident that from now on, I can meet and exceed the expectations set for me. Continuing on probation leads me to complete my degree on time and allow me to maintain momentum in my studies rather than delay my suspension.
By staying on probation, I can demonstrate my commitment to academic excellence while avoiding further disruptions to my progress. I am confident that I can make myself succeed and act appropriately for the university.
Thank you for considering my request to make me stay on probation instead of suspension. I deeply value the opportunity to continue my education from Queens University and commitmented to making the most of the time for me to succeed. I respectfully ask for your understanding and support in allowing me to prove my dedication to improvement and academic success.
