Petition Letter
I am writing to formally petition for approval to take more than 6.0 units of courses through a letter of permission from another institution. I have successfully completed 3 credits and would like to take an additional 6 credits (additional 3 unit) this semester in order to stay on track with my academic goals.
I understand that the usual limit for taking courses on a letter of permission is 6.0 units, but given my academic progress and the specific courses available through the other institution, I am requesting an exception. The additional credits will not only fulfill degree requirements but will also allow me to complete coursework that is not currently offered at our institution.
