Academic Plan
To successfully complete my remaining 3.00 units and ensure my graduation as planned in Summer 2025, I intend to enroll in ECON 365 (Economics of Underdeveloped Areas) at San Diego State University. I have thoroughly reviewed the course content, and this course appears to be equivalent to ECON 239 (Economic Development) at Queen’s University. This course meets the requirements of Program Option 2.E and complies with Queen’s University’s credit transfer policy. If this course is not deemed equivalent to ECON 239, I will seek alternative courses that fulfill my graduation requirements to ensure the timely completion of my degree.
After consulting with Professor Michael Barber, Undergraduate Chair of the Department of Economics, and academic advisor, both have recommended this plan. Due to current policy restrictions preventing further enrollment in APEC_Options courses and the lack of available ECON courses at Queen’s during the summer term, enrolling in this external course is the most viable option for fulfilling my degree requirements.
I will ensure the successful completion of this course during the Summer 2025 term and submit all necessary transfer credit documentation to update my academic records and fulfill my degree requirements.
By following this plan, I will be able to complete all required coursework on time and graduate as scheduled in Summer 2025.
