Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
Around June 15th I made the decision to drop biology 102 and anatomy 100, so I could focus on pharmacology 100 and proved that I have improved academically and in my overall well being.Due to the fact that I could not drop these courses via solus, due to an outstanding fee, I had called the faculty to request that these 2 courses be dropped before the deadline of June 26th. I was under the false impression that the woman I had spoke to had dropped my courses without any problem, once I realized this I had called the faculty, emailed them and spoke to an academic adviser with regards to this mishap. I cannot recall who I had spoke to, I believe the lady must have not officially dropped them or was unaware that they had not been really dropped. It has been over a month since I've had this problem. At first I thought it may have been a glitch in moodle that these course were still there. I have not done any work in anatomy or biology since I had called in to get those courses dropped. I wanted to be less stressed and do well in strictly one course, so I could show the university/faculty that I am putting 110 percent into getting back in to university in the fall. It would be greatly appreciated if these courses were dropped or the date extended to drop them, due to miscommunication and the false impression that these courses were dropped by a member of the faculty.
Thank-you for your time,
Kayla Bourdeau
