Petition Letter
Dear Academic Dean:
I'm sorry for making a significant mistake during the exam, which caused some issues with my GPA. I think this problem can be solved. Because a few days before the exam, many of my neighbors started enjoying their vacation, so they often have parties until very late. During those days, I was often disturbed at night, which resulted in me not reviewing the knowledge points that I didn't remember very well. Sometimes it even affects me while I'm sleeping. This further affected several days of exams. I have tried going out to review, and I did learn a little bit, but I still couldn't rest well at night. During the exam, I tried my best to answer, but in the end, I still didn't get the ideal score, which led to the occurrence of errors. I'm sorry for the series of issues that have arisen. I think this issue will be resolved later on, and next year I will work hard to make up for the missed coursework due to someone else's influence. At the same time, I will practice stronger concentration, which will further reduce the influence of others on me. When someone disturbs me with a party after an exam, I will focus more on reviewing for the exam. I won't let the same mistake happen again.
Sincerely,
Shenming Gao
