Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

I request to waive the deadline to drop courses for winter 2025 as I want to be in good academic standing at Queen's University. The reason for his is because I have a mental illness and I was recently admitted to the mental health unit for treatment at Brampton Civic Hospital. I was there for 3 weeks and I have a doctors note if required. I hope you understand that I was suffering all year due to my mental illness. The reason for dropping the courses during the winter 2025 term was because I had missed my injection and I became sick from my mental illness. I also did not have accommodation in Kingston, Ontario, Canada to live so I was unable to attend.
