Academic Plan
If granted permission to take this option course through Athabasca University, I will be able to adjust my course load to three core courses in the Fall 2025 term and two core courses in the Winter 2026 term. This adjustment will allow me to balance my academic responsibilities with my part-time work schedule, ensuring I can dedicate sufficient time to each course and remain on track to graduate at the end of the Winter 2026 term.
This external course will allow me to dedicate approximately 10–12 hours per week to each course, in line with the recommended workload for a 12-week course, and will do so in a manner that preserves both my physical and mental well-being. As I intend to pursue graduate studies in psychology, my objective is to engage meaningfully with the material and develop a strong scholarly foundation, rather than merely meeting the minimum requirements for completion. This approach will allow me to deepen my understanding of the discipline, maintain a strong GPA, and prepare effectively for advanced study.
