Petition Letter
Dear Associate Dean of Art Science,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Lola Kucher and I am a first year Biochem student, and I am writing to formally petition for the reenrollment of my BIOL 102 Section 001/ Class Number 1923 class after the add deadline. I have been enrolled and have completed every quiz/ assignment since the beginning of the term.
However, last night, I attempted to switch the time of my lab with Dr. Yates to a more preferable slot, fully aware that the deadline for changes was yesterday. Unfortunately, I encountered an error during the process. After consulting with the Biochemistry department, I learned that switching between classes is not permitted, so I decided to leave the schedule as is.
However, when I checked my schedule this morning, I discovered that BIOL 102 had been entirely removed from my courses. As a Biochemistry student, this class is mandatory for my degree progression, and I am now at a loss.
I take full responsibility for waiting until the last minute to make this change, but I sincerely hope that you can consider my situation and allow me to re-enroll in BIOL 102. I have already spoken with the Biochemistry department, and they advised me to reach out to you for further assistance.
Thank you for considering my request. I appreciate your understanding and support.
