Academic Plan
Academic Plan
To ensure continued academic success if my petition is granted, I have developed a clear plan that combines practical academic strategies and ongoing personal supports:
Balanced Course Load – I will maintain a carefully balanced schedule by limiting my enrollment to a manageable number of upper-year courses each term, ensuring that I can devote sufficient time to each subject while preserving my strong performance in Life Sciences.
Early Advising and Monitoring – I will meet with an academic advisor at the beginning of each term to review my course selections, confirm that my workload remains realistic, and adjust my plan if unexpected challenges arise.
Structured Study Routine – I will continue to use a detailed weekly schedule to track assignments, screenings, and lab commitments, allowing me to meet deadlines and avoid last-minute stress.
Wellness Supports – To maintain the personal stability that supports academic success, I will keep regular appointments with my healthcare provider and, if needed, access Queen’s Student Wellness Services for counseling or workshops focused on stress management and resilience.
Active Engagement in FILM 416, If admitted, I will complete all assigned readings in advance, participate fully in class discussions, and seek feedback from the instructor during office hours to ensure I meet the expectations of a 400-level seminar. I have also spoken to the professor and he told me to come to tomorrows lecture and talk to him after class so he can catch me up on anything I may have missed. As I intend on going to the class tomorrow I would really appreciate an update as soon as possible.
By combining these academic and personal strategies, I am confident that I can successfully complete FILM 416 and continue progressing toward my degree while maintaining my overall well-being.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration!
