Petition Letter
I applied for the DISC 598/599 Discovery Lab Research Projects for Team-Based Experiential Learning course in August 2025. Last Friday (September 12, 2025) I received an email saying I was accepted to the course pending the drop of courses to accommodate for the 6 credits/term required for this course. I sent a reply email asking for clarity regarding the process, as well as two follow-up emails. I did not hear back until today (Friday September 19, 2025). The course coordinators requested that I submit a petition to add the course to my schedule. I am still really interested in this opportunity and believe it would be extremely beneficial for my academic career as I would really like to participate in research.
