Petition Letter
Dr. Dorit Naaman,
Good evening, I am hoping that I would be able to petition a late course add to the class GPHY 101 with Professor Stoller. Due to being on the waitlist but not making it into the class by the deadline of Monday of last week.
I have been in touch with the professor since the first lecture when I had asked if I would be able to receive the assignments so I would not be behind when I was added to the course. Unfortunately, the assignments were based mostly off the tutorials, so we agreed that once I was in the class I will be fine, and my marks will not be affected. However, I was only able to make it to first on the waitlist.
Since not being in the class I emailed the professor for help petitioning for the class, he had been helpful and did not mind making the exception to add me into the class if allowed. I have also emailed the Undergraduate Chair Ian Strachen, however I am currently waiting on a response.
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this petition and I would greatly appreciate if you are able to help me in any way.
Also, please let me know if there is anything you would like me to send you in addition to this petition.
Attached are the emails between Professor Stoller, the email I sent to the Undergraduate Chair, and the courses I am currently enrolled in.
