Petition Letter
I would like to take this course because the majority of the research and project work for this study will be done during the fall term. It would be most practical to receive academic credit in the same semester. Additionally, I was unable to get off the waitlist in a required statistics course this term and I am currently enrolled in only four courses. This allows me dedicate the time and effort required to complete the Independent Study to a high standard, and to be able to take another course next semester.
