Academic Plan
Throughout my time at Queen’s University, I have demonstrated strong academic performance and a consistent commitment to my studies. In the most recent Fall 2025 semester, I achieved a GPA of 4.06 and in the previous academic year I was named to the Dean’s Honour List. These results reflect my ability to succeed when my course load aligns with my strengths and academic interests. As I am currently applying to various consecutive Bachelor of Education programs, it is essential that I complete a Geography course in order to satisfy the requirements for my intended teachable subject. Replacing GPHY 230 with GPHY 102 allows me to remain on track academically while ensuring that I can meet these professional prerequisites without compromising my academic standing. My academic plan is to maintain a full-time course load, continue achieving at a high academic level and complete all degree requirements for graduation on schedule. I am confident that adding GPHY 102 will allow me to do so more effectively than remaining enrolled in GPHY 230 where I anticipate academic difficulty despite continued effort. This petition reflects a proactive decision to protect my academic success, fulfil both degree and professional requirements and maintain the strong academic record that I have established here at Queen’s.
