Petition Letter
Hello,
I am writing to inquire about the possibility of enrolling in ECON 256 for this semester.
I was previously enrolled in ECON 256 and was scheduled to write a deferred exam. Unfortunately, I received distressing news regarding my family in Iran on the morning before the exam, which prevented me from being able to write it. I contacted my professor, who informed me that I may be eligible to seek academic accommodations to complete the exam during the second-term deferred exam period.
That said, I would very much appreciate the opportunity to rejoin ECON 256 this semester. I believe that being enrolled in the course again would allow me to be more actively engaged, benefit from the full learning experience, and strengthen my understanding of the material.
If there is any way you could assist me with enrolling in ECON 256 for this term, I would be extremely grateful. Please let me know if any additional documentation or steps are required from my end.
