Academic Plan
Part of my plan to ensure I succeed is to take courses that I am thoroughly interested in.
-Writ 120, I have wanted to take for a while now. I want to improve my writing skills both academically and in a business context.
-EMPR 230 is a course that ties to previous job knowledge that I have. I have worked in the HR space in previous summers and would love to be able to deepen my knowledge on the subject.
-EMPR 260 kinda goes hand in hand with EMPR 230, because if I do go into a job that has HR in it, I would love to deepen my knowledge on Equity and Diversity in the Workplace.
A part of my life that has caused me not to succeed, which these classes help with, is going to class. In the past, if I had an early or late class, especially during the cold months, I would have had an issue with attending on a consistent schedule. I feel I can excel in these classes as they are online, and I have a great setup at my house to succeed in this element.
