Academic Plan
My withdrawal from studies was due to a challenging year managing my disability and comorbid conditions. I have taken steps to better manage my disability including the completion of a 6-week intensive mental health program through Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, and ongoing medical support through my family doctor. I have switched my degree from a BAH to BA. Should this petition be successful I will be able to complete my courses in a self-paced format with a 6-month deadline allowing me to manage my disability with the demands of coursework. After the difficult year I have changed my environment and developed new coping strategies which will be invaluable in my success as a student. My disability is the primary reason for my withdrawal from studies so most of my academic plan is around managing my disability.
