Petition Letter
Dear Appeals Committee,
I am writing to formally request an appeal to drop my past courses ANAT 100 (Fall 2025) and SOC 100.
I want to drop these courses as I faced a sudden personal issue that affected my ability to complete the required material on time. The situation was not intentional, and I sincerely regret the outcome. I take responsibility for what happened and am actively taking steps to ensure it does not occur again. I have ADHD and I struggled with organization and time management as well as anxiety. Completing assignments can be very difficult for me but I am currently in the process of taking steps to achieve my goals or organization and time management, such as therapy.
Being able to drop ANAT 100 F25 and SOC 100 is very important for me to remain on track in my academic program. I am fully committed to keeping up with coursework and meeting all academic expectations moving forward. I am also prepared to provide any supporting documentation if required via my Therapist.
