Petition Letter
Hello,
I was told by Karen McBride to appeal to the Associate Dean (Studies) for permission to request a retroactive Letter of Permission for Fall 2014.
I recently completed the last of my first year physics courses through Athabasca University because I could never fit it in my schedule at Queen's. I thought that the letter of permission I had to do so was for permission to complete the three courses from Athabasca University that Queen's required me to take to make up for first year physics.
It is the fault of my own ignorance to not recognize that this permission was only to take these courses for the Winter 2014 semester. Therefore, I have no exemplary circumstances, but I ask you to please let me apply for these retroactive permission forms as this is my last course for graduation from Queen's. I am really looking forward to starting my M.Sc. in geological sciences this week here at Queen's, so your permission would be greatly appreciated.
