Academic Plan
I would like to take things step-by-step. First, I want to test myself by taking these two courses and aiming for a high mark in both (CLST205 and FRENP16). I feel like this would be a good first step into changing back to the student I once was prior to Queens. One month has gone by and I am making good progress into the courses. All my work is being completed and I am doing my absolute best on each and every assignment and test. I am also making sure that I schedule myself properly so that I attend every online tutorial. Second, I would take one course less to ease myself back into things in the fall semester, trying all the same to get the best grades possible. I would take courses that are introductory courses to improve my understanding of the fundamentals before challenging myself in the future. Some classes I would take are MATH121 and CISC121. As well, I would seek out a counselor and attend learning strategies events in order to improve my scheduling and attendance in class. Third, and last of all, considering I have proven myself to both my parents and more importantly, myself at this point, I would take some advanced courses mixed with some beginner courses in the winter semester to challenge myself. In this case, I would take courses such as STAT263 and CISC124. I am confident in myself that I have and will continue to change into a more focused individual. I wish to stay at Queen's simply because it is a great school and I firmly believe that if I concentrate and finish my degree, I will earn a great job and lifestyle.
