Petition Letter
I am writing to you in regards to late enrolment. There are extenuating circumstances that have prohibited me from registering for courses on time, and I apologize for the inconvenience. Just recently I sent in an appeal to ¿Register with Debt¿¿, as my parents were facing fiscal limitations financially. This resulted in me not being able to fully pay all my student funds throughout my first year. However, in response to my appeal, the committee has approved it and has granted me the privilege to attend courses this year. Furthermore, I have been in between e-mails and meetings with the registrars¿¿ office in attempts to put together a payment plan, which had to be distinguished before I could proceed with my course selection. There were many adjustments being made to the payment plan in order to make it suitable for the committee and myself. This turned out to be rather time consuming, although it is understandable regarding the circumstances. Fortunately, a payment plan has now been set in place and I am now eligible to proceed with my course selection. I understand the delay in my registration is less than satisfying, however I am very eager to continue registering for courses this fall semester in hopes that I do not have to wait until the winter term. With your consent, the courses in which I hope to be enrolled into are ENG 100A, HLTH 101, PSYC 100A and SOCY 122A. Thank you for you time and consideration in reviewing my letter. I look forward to hearing back from you.
Sincerely,
Aimee Ware
