Petition Letter
I am writing to you because it has come to my attention that I have missed the deadline to add a course to my class schedule. I realize that I am more than a couple days late, and there is no excuse for my tardiness. I however believe myself to be a good and responsible student that does not miss deadlines, save this one. I promise that I will be more censurable in the future and that this will not happen again. Also, I have recently had credit and debit card malfunctions therefore it was required of me to order a new card. This has prevented me from sending in the appeal on an earlier date.
What I wish for is to be dropped from ENGL 160 and to be added into the online version of ENGL 100 and to have my exam room on Queen¿¿s Campus. ENGL 160 gives no purpose to my major and it was suggested to me that I take the online version of ENGL 100 instead.
Also, if it is possible I would like to be placed into ENGL 290 section 2, as it is a required course for my major and was put on the wait list but was not accepted in it prior to the deadline.
