Petition Letter
I am currently a second year student in biochemistry plan. I am wishing to transfer to the physics major. I took PHYS 117 on first year, but not PHYS 106 which is required for the second year physics courses. I want to be enrolled in PHYS 106 now so that I can choose a physics major next year. I have talked with both Professor Mark Chen, the Associate Head, Professor Fraser, the course instructor, and got their support and approval to take this course from the week after Thanksgiving. They also said they can help if there is any problem on appeal. I really hope that I can get your approval as well. I know it is two weeks late after the official enrollment date, but it really took time to figure out what I really want to learn, to talking with parents and advisors, and to make the decision. Thank you
