Academic Plan
Successfully, I have already been admitted to the BAH Major degree plan in Sociology. I was able to achieve a pass in the course requirement (SOCY122), but not in my cumulative GPA. Regardless of this though, Dr. Hand agreed to admit me and thought I should be given a chance. This is all I really need to prove that my education is my first priority and I am focused on excelling in my major. I have begun to plan out which sociology courses I would enrol in for the fall/winter and I have also made plans to retake my two remaining courses with failed grades next summer. Finally being in a major degree plan is going to ensure my success in my future studies because I am motivated and I now know in which direction I am headed. From this year, I have also learned to interact more in my classes and with my professors, so my increased engagement will keep me on the right track. Lastly, I know now the importance of seeking assistance and how supportive faculty and the services Queen¿¿s has to offer are, have been, and will be; and that all I have to do is reach out. I am determined to be successful at Queen¿¿s.
