Academic Plan
I need one more course in my course load this term so I can complete my degree and graduate in June. My hope is to have DRAM 211 (online) added to my academic plan.
If my request is approved, I assume the DRAM 211 course will be loaded immediately onto my Moodle site. I will review the complete course outline and determine whether I have already missed some submission dates. If I have, I will discuss options for late submission with Dr. Walker. I will also immediately purchase the reading materials, as outlined in the curriculum.
I have taken 14 courses online (at high school, and from Queen's and UCLA) and am familiar with the technology and requirements of keeping up-to-date with readings, screenings, assignments and postings to discussion forums. For DRAM 211, the evaluation consists of online discussion forums, a personal reflection, two group projects and a peer assessment. On the day I am approved to take this course, I will immediately review all the material covered in the first three weeks of the course and begin to post in discussions and work on the assignments.
I feel I can be successful in this course if I am approved to take it given my current GPA average and my success in completing online courses in the past.
