Petition Letter
Last semester I had ECON111 listed as a course I had been enrolled in on Solus. I had dropped ECON110B in lieu of ECON111. Because it is an online course, I did not find it strange that it did not show up on my weekly timetable. During the first few weeks of this semester I had to follow through on the commitment of being the Co-Chair for Queen's Model Parliament. I was in Ottawa for this conference when it was the last day to add an academic course. I did not have access to the Internet in the hotel where I was staying, and if I knew I had to add ECON111 to my timetable I would have taken strides to get Internet access to do so. When I got back I noticed that ECON111 was not on my timetable and I took steps to try to rectify this error, including filing this appeal.
I am appealing in order to have ECON111, a Continuing Distance Studies course, be added to my academic schedule for this semester.
