Academic Plan
History 222 requires that a number of small assignments (book reports, film reviews, etc.) be completed throughout the year, and even with such a late start I have not missed any assignment deadline as of yet. If granted my appeal, I will have a lengthy amount of time to undertake the necessary catch up work over reading week and throughout the coming weeks. I am currently in three other courses, two of which are seminars that sometimes have required readings of roughly 200 pages. Readings for History 222 are often very light in comparison, and this will likely aid me in my endeavor to make up for lost time. Moreover, I have gone over the syllabus and course outline in extensive detail with Professor Schedrin, and have spoken about completing an extra assignment or two to compensate for missed time. As stated in my letter of appeal, I believe my extensive knowledge pertaining to the subject mater of the course will also help with the speed at which I can catch up. I plan to fully commit to achieving a high level of success in this course, as I am currently doing in my others this semester.
