Petition Letter
To whom this may concern,
My name is Sophie Richer La Fleche and I am fourth year student in Applied Economics. I am appealing to waive the 21-day timeline for the submission of an appeal regarding an online course (MATH 121, 6.0 units) that I was enrolled in during the academic year of 2013-2014, in which I received a letter grade of D.
In 2013, I was granted an appeal to receive Credit standing in a course I had taken during the previous academic year (2012-2013). The reason for my delayed appeal request is because I was simply misinformed that students have the opportunity to appeal more than one (1) course after having been granted Credit standing in the past. With graduation quickly approaching, I met with an academic advisor and was made aware of this possibility.
Thank you for your careful consideration and I look forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.
Sincerely,
Sophie Richer La Fleche
