Petition Letter
Dear Appeals Coordinator and Associate Dean (Arts and Science),
I am appealing to receive credit status for PHGY 210 (Winter 2014), MATH 111A&B (Fall 2013/Winter 2014) and BIOL 103 (Winter 2014). This past year I have encountered several psychological challenges that greatly impaired my ability to perform in my courses. These difficulties have made it difficult for me to concentrate in class, complete assignments, and write exams. I am taking only one course this term (MATH 121) and am seeing my counselor more regularly (every week) in hopes that my academic performance is no longer affected. I also have an upcoming appointment with a doctor at Health Services to discuss possible changes in medication that could be more helpful for my situation.
