Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
I am requesting to late-drop PHIL 240 from the winter term of 2013 and PHIL 318 from the winter term of 2014.
During that year, my academic performance was compromised by an illness.¿ I was intent on completing both of these courses, and made numerous efforts to do so. However, my condition prevented me from successfully completing them and from addressing the my academic circumstance in a timely manor. My transcript has suffered as a result.
My medical situation has now been addressed.¿The ongoing medical support and supervision of Dr. Jennifer Rae will allow me to remain proactive about my health and my academics. ¿I have been working with David Youssef to devise an academic plan. ¿
After 2 a two year hiatus from school, I feel ready to reproach the challenges and rewards of university in hopes of graduating with a General Arts Degree.¿ Experience has taught me to avoid undertaking more than I am capable of.¿ In an effort to remain in control of my course load, I will take no more than two courses per semester.¿ ¿¿
I would appreciate your permission to waive the 21 day deadline, so that i can then appeal to have these failed courses removed from my transcript.
I appreciate your consideration of my request.
Sincerely,
Lisa Cameron
