Academic Plan
Upon being reinstated, I plan on registering in some first year science courses along with taking some arts courses. Instead of focusing solely on just one area of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, I hope to take advantage of this opportunity to be able to take courses not only in the science area, but also in the arts, as I am also interested in taking courses like political studies or English.
I would continue to be a full time student except I would start off with just taking 30 credits a year (the normal course load) and if possible, slowly increase the credits taken per year if needed. I have also considered spreading the amount of time of taking a normal course load, like taking a lighter load during the normal school semesters and taking the rest of the credits needed during the summer. Of course, I will be talking to an academic advisor regarding what kind of action I should take that would be best suited for me.
As the major cause of my current academic standing stemmed from depression that developed in the beginning of the school year, I would continue to seek counselling along with what my doctor thinks is best. With that, I will also be making some adjustments to how I study the content presented in lectures and make improvements for having better time management.
