Petition Letter
This letter is respectfully addressed to the Associate Dean of Arts & Science.
I would like to appeal in request to waive the 21-day appeal deadline for a required 3 year withdraw from studies.
The first time I navigated an appeal and hold process it was completed by paper mail. After the semester closed I neglected to maintain good inbox practices on my student email, and it was not until I logged into Solus on Thursday, June 30th that I discovered the current academic hold. I immediately made an academic advising appointment with Heather later that day who informed me of the best practices in navigating the appeal system. As I am only 9 credits from achieving graduation, I am motivated to do whatever I can to reach a successful degree. Thank-you for sharing you valuable time in consideration of my case.
