Academic Plan
If permitted to return to my studies at Queens my focus would remain solely on my academics as opposed to other stressful scenario's or events occurring. I went to the writing centre, advisors and professors for extra help when I did not know how to improve, and each semester I continuously improved my academics. I take what I have learned, such as; study techniques which work best with me, and apply it to everything I do. I do intend to continue learning new technique's and applying the study techniques I have learned to everything i'll be doing. I expect my grades to continuously increase as they have been doing each semester for the past year. Depending on the courses and what happens, taking four courses a semester would be a wiser start and I can further proceed from there. Meeting with advisors, counsellors, and professors always help, and the more help I need the more I will go ask for help as opposed to having too much pride to do so constantly. I will have a set schedule for studying times, which means I can't go home just because I'm feeling anxious or paranoid, I have to manage it and stick to my schedule. Because I have had the help that I did, i've learned how to manage and handle myself and the largest issue is not allowing yourself to cave in or be swallowed by the negative occurrences. I will handle it in the ways I have learned and then be capable to solely focus on academics.
