Petition Letter
I am writing this to appeal to drop three late courses.
I chose MATH 121 Differential and Integral Calculus CDS NS16, WRIT 120 as a summer term course but a number of family issues came out that i have to return to China. and i have therefore missed the deadline for dropping the course due to the miss connection of internet. Due to a family member past away, i had to returned to my hometown, a village in wuhan. My internet problem in wuhan, China was unable to logging on to the queens website and getting on to the moodle(probably due to the censorship and the internet issues) i tried different locations but it doesnt seem to work well.
My academic plan is that I have decided to take MATH 121 Differential and Integral Calculus CDS NS16 again in the following fall when i return to Queen's university and i was wondering if you can help me with dropping 121. i also will switch my major to economics general degree so i can graduate successfully. I really had gone through tough time this summer and hopes for you understanding. If i can drop this three class successfully then i think i have a better chance.
As i am an international student, its hard for me to keep up with the course and the work load but I am trying my best to overcome everything and hopes for your understanding best,
