Academic Plan
If my appeal were granted I would remain in counseling in order to deal with my mental and personal stress. Additionally, I have been getting involved with extra curricular activities to establish a routine but healthy outlets to deal with stress considering counselor sessions occur bi-weekly. As well, I have chosen to major in philosophy and having a failing math credit is irrelevant to my degree program. I will continue to take courses that benefit my degree but also cater an interest to me. Having this mark exempted from my GPA will also reduce the stress and pressure I have encountered recently. I have been stressing and mapping out how I can make up for this fail grade in my remaining last two years at Queens. The granting of this appeal will positively impact my future academic performance and plans such as graduate programs that I wish to pursue once graduating from Queens.
