Petition Letter
Dear Associate Dean (Studies),
I am appealing the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Add Course deadline. With the permission of the department and the course instructor, I am hoping to add an elective course (WRIT225: Writing in Academic Contexts) in order to fulfil the last 1.5 credits I need to graduate this spring with a Bachelors of Arts (Honours). I was previously under the impression that I fulfilled the credit requirements to graduate but upon viewing my academic advisement report on SOLUS, I found that I was missing 1.5 credits and immediately sought to remedy this by going to Academic Advisors and emailed Professor Hardwick of the History Department to seek permission to enrol in her online writing class. With the credits from this class, I will meet all the Bachelors of Arts (Honours) program requirements to graduate in the Spring.
