Petition Letter
To Whom It May Concern:
I am appealing to drop the online Anatomy 100 course I am currently enrolled in and to be able to enrol in the Special Directed Laboratory Course (PSYC 570) in the Attention Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Daryl Wilson. I am a third year psychology student and I am very interested in psychological research and would love to be able to complete a course that is designed around research. Unfortunately the opportunity to work as a directed laboratory student in the Attention Laboratory did not come up until after the drop/add deadline. In addition, next year, in my fourth year I am planning to complete my thesis, therefore this semester (Winter 2017) is my last opportunity to be able to complete a 570 course. I believe the PSYC 570 course will be a great learning opportunity and I believe this course will greatly benefit me by exposing me to research methods that I will be able to take into my thesis next year.
